Sainsbury's Bank offers travel insurance discount

Sainsbury's Bank is offering UK residents a discount on their travel insurance policies.

Customers who apply for the policies online before October 9th 2006 could receive a ten per cent discount on their travel insurance policy.

The bank states that it has been named as a best-buy travel insurance policy by price comparison service Defaqto for each of the last three years.

Single-trip travel insurance cover available from Sainsbury's Bank starts at £9.35 for five days in the UK, which could suit travellers planning to take a short break or attend events such as festivals.

Furthermore, travel insurance policies are also available at £22 for 17 nights, while annual travel insurance policies start at £46.75.

The bank claims that this could save a family of four travelling to Europe over £100.

Sainsbury's Bank offers a wide range of insurance policies, including home insurance, life insurance, car insurance and pet insurance.

Furthermore, it also offers its customers various other financial services, such as personal loans, savings, online banking and a number of credit card options.
