More Than launches car insurance for women

More Than is launching a new policy which is designed to meet the needs of female drivers and focus on the aspects of driving that women find the most stressful .

Under the terms of the new car insurance, there will be discounts and rewards available from leading high street retailers as part of partnership agreements with More Than .

More Than Women Drivers' Insurance will include special features that are specifically aimed at female motorists such as priority roadside assistance, female friendly repairers, child car seat replacement, £3,000 worth of handbag cover, mobile phone locator and a replacement vehicle within two hours.

Jane Foster, product manager for More Than Women Drivers' Insurance, said: "More Than Women Drivers' Insurance has addressed these worries with above and beyond roadside recovery that sees female friendly agents kitted with mobile phone locators and onboard child entertainment."

According to the insurer, when considering car insurance, women are mainly concerned about their safety and that of their children should they be involved in an accident or breakdown .
