Churchill insurance raising money for Comic Relief

Wed, 11 Mar 2009

Churchill insurance are hoping to raise a lot of money for Comic Relief and Red Nose Day .

To achieve this, the Churchill nodding dog will be wearing a red nose and Churchill say that for every insurance policy sold between 9th-15th March, the company will donate £1 to Comic Relief. The Comic Relief donation will be made by Churchill themselves and will not be added to what customers pay for their insurance . Customers will also be able to make a donation via the comic relief website.

All Churchill branded insurance policies, such as van, motorcycle and car insurance, home insurance, pet insurance and breakdown cover will be included in the Comic Relief support. Churchill will also be supporting Comic Relief on Red Nose Day by using two of its UK call centres to take calls from people pledging donations.

Churchill is part of RBS Insurance, which is wholly owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland Group.
