Annual travel insurance is a better choice for travellers who prefer to take shorter, more frequent holidays, according to InsureandGo .
Perry Wilson, founder of the company InsureandGo, said that people who like to go for two or three breaks in a year, such as weekend trips to European cities like Prague, Barcelona and Amsterdam, should think about getting a one insurance policy that covers all. Mr Wilson said: "Wherever you go, you are covered by it. For £85 for a whole family for a whole year, for whatever you want to do, worldwide."
A recent report conducted by Aldi found that five per cent of holidaymakers travel abroad without any cover at all. In terms of holiday costs overall, many British travellers find cheaper travel insurance desirable and 60 per cent told the firm that value for money was the most important factor when they were considering their options.
