Insurer offers a day of free car insurance every week

Direct Line has announced that it will be giving new car insurance customers one day of free cover each week.

This offer, which is available until 30th June 2009, will provide a discounted premium, but with the same level of car insurance cover . If comprehensive car insurance is taken out, the policy will automatically include ‘Vandalism Promise’ which means that if a person makes a claim as a result of vandalism to their car, they will not lose their no claims bonus or their excess.

Also included is ‘ Uninsured Driver Promise’ whereby if a person puts in for a claim for an accident that wasn’t their fault and the driver of the other car is uninsured, then the policyholder will not lose their no claims bonus or excess.

Direct Line have a home insurance offer available until 31 May 2009 which is offering new customers 12 months home insurance, combined buildings and contents cover, for the price of 10 months.
