As an individual you can go about reclaiming any PPI premiums you have paid yourself, or with the help from the Financial Ombudsman. However, this course of action can be very time consuming and frustrating as your bank/lender will make it reclaiming as hard as possible.
This is where we can assist by managing the whole claims process on your behalf and making it completely hassle free for you. We believe our wealth of experience in challenging banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions gives us a better chance of obtaining a bigger payout than borrowers who decide to go it alone.
We will claim back all of the premiums you have paid since the start of the policy, plus interest, providing we find that you were mis-sold PPI in the first place.
On average we can expect to conclude your claim within 6 to 8 weeks of us receiving proof of your PPI policy from either you or your bank/insurance provider.
We can recover any charges you have incurred on your policy dating back six years, providing you still have the paperwork for the loan that the PPI policy was sold alongside.
However, if you do not have the necessary paperwork and the loan ended over six years ago, we would be unable to request your policy details as banks are only required to keep this information for six years.
No! You are allowed to claim back whatever money is rightfully yours, no matter how much that is.
We may still be able to help you reclaim your PPI charges even if your account has been closed, or you have cashed in your PPI policy.
We will only invoice you when all your PPI premiums and interest have been agreed and refunded. The fee that will be taken is 25% + VAT (29.375% in total) of the compensation paid back to you.
